It was a great year for MX racing. Myself, all of my Club Reps and Series Officers and hosting clubs would like to thank each and every participant and spectator, District 37 and all of our wonderful sponsors for your support - we could not have done it without any and all of you.

Seeing all of my old friends and making many new ones has added icing on the cake to all of the hard work that goes into promoting, working and racing this premier local motocross series.

Even though we are in an economic downturn and monies are tight for everyone, we were able to maintain participation numbers so that none of the clubs lost any monies - this was a hard driven effort from everyone’s part to make it to the races and help make this series a success.

Thing are in the works for next year with new philosophies, ideas, sponsors and factory contingencies to help make this series better than ever, and I would love to hear back from any of you that have suggestions, ideas and yes, even criticism - anything to help make this the best MX series in the West (send to aircmj@aol.com).

The AMA Southern California Championship Motocross Series IS the only California AMA Motocross Series, where motocross was first established in the United States, it is only right that we finish it here too!

Be sure to mark your calendar, make plans for our Trophy Awards Presentation at the Legendary Cocky Bull on Thursday, September 18th 2008 off of Highway 395 and Palmdale Road (SH-18) at 7:00pm  - should be a great time even if you do not have an award.
